A female yeast infection can happen to women of any culture, race or age. A woman’s vagina has already got a particular amount of yeast contained within. The yeast can multiply under circumstances such as the use of medications for other medical problems such as a urinary tract infection. Medical problems such as diabetes mellitus can predispose girls to yeast infection, as can pregnancy.
